I've always been drawn to stories—not just the ones found in books, but the ones hidden in forgotten places, old photographs, mountain trails, and conversations with people whose experiences deserve to be remembered.
Whether I'm writing nonfiction, crafting suspense novels, exploring the paranormal, or photographing the Smoky Mountains, I'm searching for the same thing: moments that reveal something meaningful about the people and places around us.
My writing spans several genres because curiosity doesn't fit neatly into a single category. Some stories begin with history. Others begin with a question that refuses to let go. Some explore the unexplained, while others imagine what might happen when ordinary lives collide with extraordinary circumstances. Whatever the genre, every story is grounded in characters, atmosphere, and the belief that the best stories stay with us long after the final page.
When I'm not writing, you'll often find me behind a camera through Photographs & Impressions, capturing the beauty of the Smoky Mountains and the people who come to experience them. Photography has taught me to slow down, observe carefully, and appreciate details that are easy to overlook—lessons that naturally find their way into my writing as well.
Thank you for visiting. Whether you've come looking for a new book, an article, photographs, or simply to learn a little more about my work, I'm glad you're here.
