Every story begins somewhere.

Mine began long before I ever published a book.

I've always been fascinated by the stories hidden in ordinary places—the abandoned buildings that make you wonder who once called them home, the quiet mountain trails where history still lingers, the photographs that preserve moments long after they're gone, and the people whose experiences continue to echo through time.

Today, I tell those stories through many different creative mediums.

As an award-winning author, I've written psychological suspense, paranormal thrillers, crime fiction, and nonfiction. My novels explore questions about memory, grief, justice, fear, and the choices that define us. Every book begins with a question worth exploring and a story worth telling.

Beyond my books, photography has become another way of preserving stories. The Smoky Mountains have provided endless inspiration, offering landscapes, forgotten places, and fleeting moments that deserve to be remembered. Whether through a camera, a keyboard, or music, my goal remains the same—to capture something meaningful before it disappears.

Music has become another extension of that journey. My Echoes project transforms stories into songs, exploring how memories, places, emotions, and experiences continue to resonate long after the original moment has passed.

When I'm not writing or photographing the mountains, you'll usually find me researching local history, exploring back roads, searching for forgotten places, or discovering the stories that often go unnoticed.
